Chris Bivins - Art Guy

I've been interested in art ever since I was a kid and my brother taught me to draw with smelly magic markers. I've worked as a graphic designer and illustrator for over twenty years and am currently the art director for Artisan Northwest Magazine (Okay, I'm one of the publishers too, so it was an easy job to get). It's only been recently that I've started working on sculptural mixed media pieces and have an inherent fascination with artifacts and discarded items and their possible resurrection as art objects. My short attention span leads me in several different directions but it keeps life interesting.
